How to join the windows and mac worlds
If you’re in love with the beauty and simplicity of the Mac operating system but will almost certainly use Windows forever with the kind of software you have then you definately may find that you have no options. Fortunately there are several solutions in order to still get the Mac you need.
I’ve a 24″ Imac and absolutely love it. I started off as an Apple customer but was required to change to Windows when every one of the work software I used only ran on Windows. Because of the modern OS10 that runs using a Linux platform you’ll be able to run windows on a mac in several different ways.
My personal options are VMWare Fusion which offers you a virtual environment in which to perform any main system, not just windows. Programs called Parallels and VirtualBox do the same. I recently preferred the interface of VMWare’s product.
You may also use bootcamp which enables you to reboot your pc directly into windows or Mac, take your pick. However, by using method you can’t run them both as well. With the virtual method above you’ll be able to run them at the same time and in many cases drag and drop files directly from one OS to the other. How sweet is?
I make use of the mac side of my machine for regularly. The windows side is restricted to 3rd party programs that aren’t mainstream (internet marketing type) and Quicken, which is the world’s best money management software for use at home. Easily didn’t need those programs a great deal I wouldn’t run windows in any respect. Mac is merely far superior is respects.
Kristen loves the mac environment. She doesn’t like Windows greatly. She also enjoys writing about gazebo kits and room divider screen and delta faucets repair.
